As you know, the wireless networks including the foreign ones are seen on the Network Connections Window as icons. Here, I don't want to see the foreign network icons. How can one make them invisible or hide them? Thank you very much in advance for your answers.

Hi there,

When I go to Network Connections, I see LAN and/or WLAN connections, is this what you were referring to? If you do not want to see them right click on it then choose disable.

Now, if you were referring it hiding the network icons from the system tray, here's how.
Remove icons from the notification area (system tray)

Hope this helps.

Hi 2xg,

Thank you very much for the answer. What I mean is as follows: At bottom, on the right of the task bar, in the notification area there is network icon. When we click the network icon, we see all the available foreign wireless connections eventhough we are not connected with. I don't want to see some of them. This is just as barring emails from a certain email address. Sincerely,

Thanks for the confirmation, seeing those wireless connections or SSIDs is just normal. The SSIDs from your neighbors are broadcasting that's why you can see them. Does this bother you much? Unless you want to hide the icon of the wireless icon from the System tray/notification area.
