This is where I downloaded from, and only because I couldn't get it to work previously.

I did use your link originally, but it would not give alerts after working before.

Interesting how different the search results are from this link, this is what pops up when I click on that,

The Keygen one in your reply is the one I downloaded.

That would explain a lot. Keygen's are usually malicious and illegal.

Okay got it now. WOT shows safe for me too. But scanning the download link shows an unsafe redirect.

That's just it - Mbam didn't alert me to that until after I downloaded it.

And to make matters worse, it has stopped notifying me again.:huh:

Just checked these download links on the page and they all lead to file sharing websites - I can't access any of them without unblocking them.

Does this program work well for you?

As I said, it is now not giving alerts.

BTW - this is the official link, not the one that gave me problems.

I wish I could find another program that was dependable.

MBAM - I just use the free version. I've got no idea how to set it to block PUP's. If it's playing up then probably other forum members can help you out with removal and reinstallation of MBAM.

In the meantime I'd suggest scanning all software downloads with PE Studio

Once installed - it's portable - just create a shortcut on your desktop to the PEStudio.exe file and drag any downloads onto the shortcut. You will see a report showing results from multiple AV scans on VirusTotal amongst other things.

Both - Mbam didn't alert before download and Gmail Notifier Pro is now not working either.

I just went into settings and set IPOP ( couldn't do IMAP), but it is working.

I didn't realize you could click "Show Notifier" and see messages, but I wanted the balloon popup notification, and now have it.

Don't worry, I sleep at odd times. Just for the record I tried the software again and had problems until I disabled my Hosts file. Then everything worked. I also remembered the password for an old ymail account that I already set up a few years ago so I used that.

The notifier works for me too - set to check every minute.
