March 10th 2015 Windows Updates

I ran windows update cleanup and that one was removed and re-offered again,

That one = Which one? If you're referring to KB3031432, it is an Important Kernel Patch (addresses Vulns): https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/MS15-015?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Does this update install any additional functionality?

Yes. For customers with automatic updating enabled, this update also installs new functionality that is being deployed with Microsoft Security Advisory 3004375. The new functionality, which pertains to the Windows Command Line Audit Process Creation policy, is unrelated to the vulnerabilities addressed in this bulletin. When installation is complete, updates 3031432 and 3004375 will be listed as installed updates.

Important Customers who download and install updates manually will need to install both updates (3031432 and 3004375), which can be installed in any order.

To me this might mean "You can't have one without the other"

Customers who install this security update may face a known issue in which error 1108 is generated in the Security event log instead of the usual 4688 audit event. To address this issue, update 3004375 must be installed together with this update (update 3031432).

Note This issue was first encountered in security update 3023266 (MS15-001).

Ever sense the March 10th updates these two: KB3031432 and KB3004375 continue to show up each day to be updated. Getting annoying is an understatement. Is there a cure for this? I have tried clean up with UAC high and low, but nothing works.

But if you do want to hide them, right click on the line in updates and select Hide.

Thanks, I will try anything. The tow updates come back after a cleanup, even when "windows update cleanup " is deslected. WIll just ignore it next time and hope MS fixes it next uodates..

They will ALWAYS come back until you either install them or HIDE them.

They have been installed at least 12 times. Will not clean out the files from now on.
