mcupdate_scheduled wakes computer at night

Just before 11PM local time, my computer has awoken for no known reason, until today.

It turns out that the Windows Media Center updates at this time. As far as I know, there is no non-nerd way of changing when this happens.

Luckily I consider myself a nerd! Unfortunately, I'm not nerd enough to know how to go change this!

I would really like to adjust it 12 hours [forwards or backwards doesn't matter to me if I have to wait an extra 1/2 a day for updates] I think it would be better if it updated while somebody was using it as it has 8 cores, nobody should even notice.

Using the tutorial below just a guide for Task Scheduler, you can do this to change the update time:

• In Task Schedulter, double click on mcupdate_scheduled in the middle pane of Media Center.
• Click on the Triggers tab, select the trigger, and click on Edit.
• Adjust the time to what you like, and click on OK.
• Click on OK again in Triggers tab.

Thank you! I found where it allows me to change the time, and I turned off the wakeup from sleep feature.

I do have to go through everything and see what else updates in the middle of the night that I'm un-aware of...
