I have a Dell Latitude laptop E5450 which has 8 GB of ram and will take 16 GB. I opened it up, and the 2 sticks of RAM are not even identical! One is by Crucial (Micron,) and the other is not labelled. So much for Dell's high standards. Anyway, the question is about speed. There is RAM available at C9. C10, and C11. Will any and all of them work? Should I just buy the fastest? (EXAMPLE: G.SKILL Ripjaws 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 DDR3 1600MHz CL11 1.35V SODIMM - Laptop Memory (F3-1600C11D-16GRSL) Thank you.[h=1][/h]

First of all, is this a brand new or refurbished computer? If it is refurbished, they have just probably replaced the Memory Sticks, either because one of them went bad or they upgraded it from the original if the stock config had less, like 4 or 6 GB. If its brand new, well... The factory was short on RAM and you happened to get their leftovers!
But, worry not, as mixed sticks, especially in laptops, are no big deal.
I did a little research in Google and your maximum config is 16GB of DDR3L, and supports 1600MHz speeds.

Just go for it, its worth it and not risky at all! ;)
