It is here .... #6 .Well now that was quick. Glad you got it fixed. Could you explain the steps you took to solve the problem? It could help others that might get the same problem.
What do you think about the lower four of these ?The message is being caused by this startup entry .......
PROGRAM|COMMAND|USERNAME|LOCATION
HKCU | c:\windows update\server.exe | fdfdfdfd-PC\fdfdfdfd | HKU\S-1-5-21-3800995750-2033227994-2166728392-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.
Now restart the computer. Let us know if you are getting this message anymore or not.
- Click on the Start button
- Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
- Select the “Startup” tab.
- Deselect all items other than the antivirus, Avast.
- Apply > OK
- Accept then restart.
What programs are we talking about.
