Move all user data from one user to another?

I have had my clean install of windows for about a fortnight now. I just recently found that the account I actually want to use though is the hidden "ultimate administrator"kind of user. Is there a quick easy way to migrate my settings and user data from the normal administrator user "tom" to the super administrator user?

the "hidden" SU has virtually the same rights as a member of the admin group so why would you want to? Is there something special you need/want to do?

Well for example, before i reinstalled windows I could save anywhere I wanted on my computer, now it doesnt let me save in places like program files, and im pretty sure the SU can.

Don't do this, its a security risk to use the hidden Administrator account daily.

How so? I know what I do to my OS, and im the only one who uses the computer which never leaves my room. If I screw it up through fault of my own I just use a fresh install. I would rather put up with a screwed up OS and fresh install for a few days than an almost daily issue of my computer stopping me doing things causing me to spend double or triple the time to get something done.

Why don't we try to fix the problem? What are you using to install Windows 7? An OEM copy or retail version?

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OEM

Get a legal iso of a Genuine Untouched Windows 7 from the internet, I'm not gonna tell you how to do so.

The people who sold me the PC managed to install windows and give me full administrative rights. There must be a way I can too without spending money or downloading a new operating system on my crappy 10gb a month internet plan which i use all of anyway.

Well do you have the Windows 7 key as a sticker on your computer? (Don't actually post the key). Look, its the best solution, if its because of download limits, you can go to a free Wi-Fi like a coffee shop or something.

I have the key, but (and im not trying to be difficult..its just how it is) getting another version of windows isnt practical for me at this point in time =/

I didn't tell you to get/install a different version of Windows, you'll just be clean re-installing Windows 7 from a CLEAN retail version, which is untouched, unlike the OEM versions which give problems and have bloat...

What kind of OEM copy of windows do you have? Since your system is custom built, I think this is a copy purchased from newegg and such like, its identical to any retail disk so you can clean install from it, then use the sticker key to activate. Such copies are called system builder oem.

SlasherIT, what you're talking about is the OEM restore disks that come with preinstalled, preactivated branded computers such as the dells, HPs, lenovos etc. Those are different from the system builder disks and include that particular OEM's bloatware, licensing info, logos etc.

yeah, I can perform clean installs from my disk, it doesn't seem to come with anything but windows.

I would be very reluctant to...but I would if you could explain to me what it would achieve.

Well, when you clean re-install, Windows 7 will behave completely normal, you should not be getting any issues you are currently experiencing. You can try and test it out yourself, and see if you will still have these issues or not. You should be able to copy things anywhere you want to. You can make a complete System Image of your current desktop, clean re-install Windows 7 and try if and see if you still are having issues or not, then you can just recover from your System Image back to your normal desktop, users, settings ect. if you want to.

But this was a clean install and I had the problem since I started. I just logged onto the super admin account and I tried to save a .txt file in program files. It let me. I then tried to save a .txt in program files from my current account. It said I did not have permission to. So there, using the super admin solves my problem, I am not interested in security or anything...if I download something that screws up my computer, then ill deal with it. All I am asking is simply is there a windows function or a program that anyone knows of that allows you to migrate user files from one account to another...is it really that hard? =/
