I play Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne and before I installed Windows 7 64-Bit I was able to host games with Listchecker. Listchecker doesn't work for me anymore so I've tried using a similar hosting program called DotaClient. It installs fine but when I load it, this window pops up and gives me this error.

I did a search for MsgHoo32.ocx in Windows and it didn't exist.

Listchecker ran perfectly fine on Windows 7 32-Bit. I can't vouch if Dota Client worked with Windows 7 32-bit though. I only upgraded to 64-bit because I upgraded my computer with Dual SLI video cards. Outside of creating a separate partition and installing Windows 7 32-bit is there anything I can do without resorting to that?

I searched pretty thoroughly before coming to this forum and had no luck. That site came up on google and I tried to follow the link a poster left on there and it says 404 Not Found.

Did you do as the last person instructed?

Yep just make sure that .ocx file is in your System32 folder then register it through the command line.

regsvr32 /u /s msghoo32.ocx

regsvr32 /s msghoo32.ocx

Do them seperately and in sequence of course

I don't have msghoo32.ocx on Windows when I search for it in the Start Menu. I've found a couple of sites that say they have it and I can download it but I'm not sure I should trust them.

In case the text in the pic is too hard to read it says

'The module "msghoo32.ocx" may not compatible with the version of Windows that you're running. Check if the module is compatible with an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe'

The only thing I can think of is to look at the properties in the program and see if it will run in "compatible mode with" whatever option you're given in the dropdown list....or your first option in your first post.

It looks like I'll need to make a separate partition for the 32 bit version. I got system errors when I restarted my computer after entering the registry stuff in command program. I had to do a system restore. Arrrrrrgggggggggggh.

Please keep in mind that this is not the RTM/final version of Windows 7. You will need to buy the RTM DVD in order to make your program work .... and even then, it might not be ready for "prime-time".

I would suggest that you join their forum and seek advice.
