You did well. There are a LOT of corrupted files. You have to now burn your recovery DVDs (you need probably two DVD-R). Unfortunately every manufacturer has their own ways doing that. So you have to look into the little booklet that came with the PC. It should tell you how to go about it.
On some systems, you can type RECOVERY into start/search and it will show the Recovery Disk Creation Wizard above. But that is only one of many possibilities.

It looks like they do the repairs for you if you run into problems like this. There is no option to fix it yourself; you will have to find the nearest store and have them do the technical support. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Actually, before you go get help elsewhere, there is something I do not think was tried. Go into Start Menu->Right click My Computer->Click Properties->Click System Protection->Click System Restore. Tell me what you see.
