My hi specs dell laptop is too slow

Sir I hav bought new Dell Inspiron N5520 core i7 8gb ram 1gb internal(Intel) and 1gb external(AMD) graphics card , 1 TB HDD
With this specs my my system is slow?
I've installed oracle Xe Database,other oracle ADF software's and Jdevelopr 11g
please tell me when i had not use these software , why my computer is still slow?
including boot time

When you purchased the laptop, did you erase all the bloatware that usually comes along with it? You can look into optimizing the laptop by getting rid of services and processes you don't need and you can think about purchasing a SSD for a real speed increase in read/write. Check the specs on the hard drive that is installed. It's likely a 5400RPM drive. Desktop PC's run 7200RPM drives so that 5400RPM drive is going to slow it down some compared to a similar spec desktop PC. That and as mentioned, factory installed bloat ware will eat up resources and slow things down.

I have heard positive things about a program called *PCDecrapifier* The PC Decrapifier Wipes Unwanted Junk | The PC Decrapifier It automates the action of removing unwanted junk. The PC Decrapifier is Free for personal use. If you have system restore turned on, it would be wise to have a restore point before running any software that is automated in removal of other software. I would insinuate that such a utility as the PCDecrapifier is safe to use since it's made for the specific reason in mind. I doubt it would remove any system files. There is another program that I use to completely uninstall software, it's called *Revo Uninstaller Pro*, but this is not a free program.

sir my laptop comes with Ubuntu , I had delete the partition coz of only one partions for ubuntu (1 TB was there )


so no Blotware isue i think

unable to find RPM speed of HDD in system info ..where it is ??

You'll likely have to look up the specs for the hard drive itself. If you go into Device Manager and look under Disk Drives you should see the model Number. Mine is listed as WDC WD50 00AAKS-.... Googling that gets me all the specs on the drive.

Sometimes, running multiple antivirus or antispyware can cause a severe performance. Uninstall these programs that you are not using. After that make sure that you have delete the registry of uninstall programs. follow these steps to delete the registry .
Go to Run
type regedit
then HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then SOFTWARE

In the software folder right click on the the program that you have uninstall and delete those registry

Just curious, if you remove that external graphics card, how's the performance?

I have never seen one of those in action, so it's my suspect atm.

What is that card and what kind of connection? In a special slot or USB 2.0 or 3.0?

I'm thinking it not actually "external", it's just dual graphics. The Intel video is integrated in the CPU/APU and it has a dedicated AMD Video card.

This system works on switchable graphics. You can run hardware diagnostics(especially hard-drive) on the system to isolate any of the hardware faults for system being slow.
