Hi everyone, not sure wot is going on but my pictures produce another copy of the image that is ._img01.jpg and the original image img01.jpg. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

I cant really recall whether some of the images on my laptop were created on my mac and then copied to my windows7 laptop. They are all jpegs. No dual booting. Two separate computers. R the copies a mac legacy?
If I double click them i get the windows photo viewer cant open this picture because the file appears to be damaged, corrupted or is too large. I was just going to delete them all but I thought I would check that they were not important in some way
