Do not run Registry Cleaners which are sales scams which don't do anything except ruin your OS installation.

You;ll need to uninstall the programs which were wrongly placed on another partition so that they can later be reinstalled to the Vista partition.

Then boot the Win7 DVD, wipe G HD to get the cleanest possible space to install Win7: Follow the steps exactly: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/91339-ssd-hdd-optimize-windows-reinstallation.html

One quick curious question: Isn't clean all the same as format? From past experience (around 15 XP formats xD) I hear that format changes all the binary code on a HDD to "0", like clean all. Is this true?
And I only go up to the Clean All step on the guide, right? Not past it?

No, the installer's Quick format erases nothing while Clean All overwrites all code on the HD with zeroes.

Follow the steps I gave to use the installer to partition and format after Diskpart Clean All step. This will issue the 100mb System Reserved boot partition which places the Repair console conveniently on the F8 Advanced Boot Tools - instead of just on the DVD or CD.

It may take a couple of hours to Clean All 2nd HD, so you can leave it running while you do something else.

When it completes, type Exit, close Command box, click Install Now, Custom Install, Drive Options, make a suggested 100gb install partition, format, Install.

Can DiskPart be kind of... paused? and then resumed? (I suppose not, :-D)
I read that the Win7 install could take up to a whooping 21 hours... Could this happen to me during a clean install/dual boot?

Win7 installer should configure a Dual Boot with Vista, placing its boot files on the Vista partition. Later when you remove Vista, it will require repairs to boot Win7 independently.

You can handle this now by unplugging Vista HD during install so Win7 is set up to boot independently. After install, set preferred OS HD first to boot in BIOS setup, boot the other OS HD using the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key which every computer/mobo has.
