need help,,

i have HP envy x2 laptop windows 8 and tried to downgrade it to win7 ultimate x64 by usb uefi boot,, during installation,, the computer restarts automatically after installation but when it restarts,, it goes to the very beginning of win7 installation,,, whats wrong with it???
or does this model cant support win7?? help pls,,

it does not support Windows 7.

I'd recommend restoring to Win 8 using the built in recovery then upgrade to Win 10. I think you will like 10 a lot more than you do 8.

hello

I've left mt laptop unused for couple of months,, (because i cant install win7)..
then when i open it to follow your advise, when i turned it on,, it doesn't detect my HDD,,
was it destroyed when i installed win7 for it does not support it??
do i need to replace it??

No it didn`t destroy your drive.

Can you go to another computer and create a Partition Wizard Boot CD ?

Bootable Partition Manger | MiniTool Partition Wizard Bootable Edition

Then boot the HP Envy with that cd and post a clear picture of screen it shows (of course you`ll have to take a pic with a camera or phone)

It`ll look like this.

there is no built in dvd room in my laptop,, can i boot it through usb flash drive??

i tried booting it from a pen drive

i created a bootable pen drive and boot it in my laptop,, but it doesn't boot from the pen drive,,
the same error appears,,
no bootable device found.
and when i do the hard disk check,, it says NOT INSTALLED..
