So apparently I have -1025 mb of memory
mem.jpg

What's the deal? I've run the same program in 1 x64 virtual machine and 1 x86 machine, without issue.

It's probably because I upgraded this machine from 7100 -> 7264.

Does anyone know why the program is seeing -1025 mb? I can finish the install, but then the program won't boot up.

It has something to do with the way Win98 (minimum requirements) applications detect memory & hd space. I have seen the same things happen with HD space :p

Normally, the offending apps will install with no issue.

Tried it, no difference.

I'm gonna sit that program out till i get the rtm, cause it seems to be working on the later builds.

:roflmao:

That is hilarious, but I cannot explain it. The other guys seem to have though.

It installs in XP mode no problem, that's where it was running before, but since I tried it out on different 7 installs I decided to give it another try on this comp.

The program in question installs in a 64 bit virtual machine that has 1024mb assigned. It installs on a 32 bit live machine with 3 gigs of ram.

I'm gonna try to limit the memory my live 64 bit sees through msconfig and see if that does anything. Any other thoughts?
