Solved New build PC freeze up!

The PC has been logged in on safe mode the whole day, and nothing happend. so dost that roule out HW problem then, so it must be softwere?
Can i do any thing with the machine when i run memtest? like play any games or use a web browser, or do i just have to leav it running?

BTW, yesterday i looked at a forum and a person there had the same prob as me, he got a tip to cheack how many sound drivers are active, i had 2, 1 AMD driver and one realtek driver. so ive disabled the AMD driver, to see if that helps me anything.

hmm... the PC has worked fine now sins last post. but today it stopped again. Was out for a few hours and when i got back it was freezed. and it dosnt show any errors or warning in event viewer. but i think its down to 2 things now. 1 the new keyboard i got is bugging the PC up, or 2 the USB ports is the problem.

damn... dosnt look like any of those 2 things i listed was the problem. keep getting freeze ups, dosnt matter what USB slot i use or keyboard..
and i just tested my HD and it was working just fine. And ive started taking out the RAM bricks now, to see if that helps.

Looks like one of the 2 RAM chips i had was the problem.. weird tho. Memtest didn't pick up any errors with any of them.
anyway, now i know what the problem is :)

Saw this but didn't get a chance to respond... I was thinking the culprit was ram, but you had tested it. I'm glad you found the issue.
