Solved New Folder created after update?

I've ran all the scanners that were listed Anak and I again would like to thank you for all the recommendations. The online scanner actually came up with 2 trojans from javascripts files but I already had them removed. Also Malwarebytes didn't come up with anything. As far as for the unlocker am actually have some issues with it, because it seems to be installed correctly with a 64bit version but nothing seems to happen when I use it. I'll give that another shot. I found another thread about a similar incident http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/168895-temp-folder-c-users.html I didn't mean to bump the thread but the thread author hasn't replied back to a PM I sent him.

There is an Assistant you could try. It has a troubleshooter that you can run, it may find your problem and fix it.

If that does not help, and because you have a Nivida graphics card, you seem interested in trying theterrier's fix

See if you have this: Using HP Update HP HDX X16-1354CA Premium Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (Canada - English)
You might have to go to Start >All Programs >HP to find the tool.

Run this tool to see if there are newer drivers/software for your graphics card, there may be others, but lets concentrate on the graphics.
If there are, follow the directions and download the graphics update. Your desktop is a good place.

Before you open that update, create a restore point, see option two here: How to create a Restore Point!

Then left click on the update, and follow the prompts to install the update.
If it asks if you want the updater option installed, say no or it may just go ahead and install it automatically.

If the Installer asks if you want to restart now for the changes to take effect, say yes or it may just go ahead and restart automatically.

You said you can now delete that Temp Folder since you removed some malware, find it and do so.

Restart your book, check to see if the Temp Folder was recreated.

That is enough for now. Post back your results.

Alright thanks again Anak. I ran everything and I am up to date with all my drivers, including my graphic card. I ran all the HP scans and everything checked out ok. Also with my temp folder, I can delete it "sometimes" but then on some occasions it give me the error "can not be deleted this process is in use or something." I ran all the other virus/malware/spyware scanners that's been listed at the moment. Am still trying to figure out how the thread I posted was able to resolve his issue.

Did you ever download Malwarebytes (mbam)? On the More Tools tab there is a good utility called 'File Assassin'. Give that a try.
When you click on the run tool button a dialogue box will open, navigate to that Temp folder, and click on it. Another box will open and then click Yes.

I think i got figured it out, from theterriers post I was doing some trial and error with the nvidia drivers. Yet to my knowledge I didn't install any of the additional features like the HDaudio or the 3Dglasses and update 1.3.5 and the Temp folder is gone....! I wonder if that's the source of my problems.

Could be, theterrier found the updater (update 1.3.5) for nivida caused the same situation to occur on his OS.

The best explanation I can offer is that the updater needed a live Temp Folder in order to work properly as all automatic up-daters do, but the Users folder is not the best destination Folder to place it in.
Then once they are done updating the Temp Folder should delete itself.

If you feel this is a bug you could go here NVIDIA Update and file a bug report.

For now, I would use the notebook as you would normally, and when you are done with it for the day shut it down.
Then the next morning start-up, and check to see if everything is okay.

If it is, lets say for the next six restarts, you can mark this Thread solved.
There should be an area to the upper left of the Reply box that you can do that.

Its official Anak I think the temp folder is gone for good. Its been over 6 restarts and still no TEMP folder. Thanks for all the help.
