So building a new one from scratch, This is what I come up with.

Any advise is gladly appreciated.

- Processor
Intel I7-3820

- Grafische kaart
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760

- RAM
RAM 2x 8 GB

- Motherbord
Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3

- Bluray player
BLU-ray ROM SATA

- Power supply

- Case

Any help or advise building this PC is welcome.
Also I was a bit shocked at the costs is there a way to replace some parts that give the same or better result for a lower price?

Thanks for any help!

PS: If anyone should notice A 2 TB disk is my second disk but I can use it from my current PC.

Nice build. I would add an internal HDD for mass data - maybe 1TB in size. And if budget allows, you may consider a SSHD. Here are a few to chose from:

Newegg.com - sshd

PS: Just saw your edit. That is obviously an option if you don't need it on the old PC.

As for me i would change the blu ray rom to a full blu ray burner.

It is a nice option for mass backup as blu rays hold approximately 5 dvd's
If you want to go the blu ray route just know you will need to also buy good software to watch blu rays as they currently don't have good (free) software yet.

Just a suggestion

Looks OK, it's hard to recommend changes without knowing what you will have to pay for the components you have already selected.

The first thing that springs to mind is the CPU and Motherboard, I don't know if you are aware but there is a next gen version now, the one you have selected is SandyBridge E, the latest is IvyBridge E, here in the UK there is little to no difference in price on the lowest model which is what you have selected, the IvyBridge E equivalent is the i7 4820K. You have to be careful selecting a motherboard though as although it uses the same socket (X79) the old gen boards need a bios flash to use with the new gen CPU's, there are however a handful of new boards that were released to support the new gen straight out of the box.
The advantage of Ivy E is it will perform a bit better than the older Sandy E.

Thank you all for the responses so far.

Just a few point computergeekguy: I don`t need a Blu-ray burner I never burn something to Blu-ray in my opinion you have flash drives for that and for movies I have a NAS.

paulpicks21: Thank you for the suggestion of the I7-4820K I will certainly take it with thoughd.

Now however I still want to try to get the price just a bit lower maybe you all can help me with that.
Maybe a different site to order from or some parts that are cheapers but will work just as good.

Here is my complete list so far I checked the sites www.conrad.nl and www.komplett.nl hope you all can help:
