Strange, mine was 32Tb. Must have been both x128 & x256 versions. Although x128 has almost been completely out-sourced.

Yes, he can edit the .inf and the current driver will work with his card. Holographics may be somewhat slow due to the low amount of dedicated memory. Maybe see what's up with aperature in the bios.
