If you boot the Win7 DVD Repair console, does it find an installation to repair? If so, run Startup Repair repeatedly to see if it will start.

yes, it finds the Win7 installation - when I run Startup Repair, it doesn't find any problems.

If not, try clearing the CMOS in your BIOS

I'll let you know if this helps.

What is the SATA controller setting in BIOS?

Not sure what to look for here.

Try installing from flash drive

Not sure if my motherboard supports this option - I don't see USB on the boot priority list.

Lastly, try running HD Diagnostics and memtest86.

If Win7 Repair finds an installation to repair, it should be able to start it. Try running Startup Repair at least three full times with reboots.

Next, boot back into Win7 Repair console, open a Command Line and type:

bootrec.exe /fixmbr
bootrec.exe/fixboot

Now try to restart. If it won't start, boot back into Repair console and run Startup Repair again 3 separate times with reboots.

Next, open DVD command line to type:

Bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force

Try to start Win7. If it won't start, again run Startup Repair 3 separate times.

This means you have tried ever thing known to get it started.
