Look behind you...
I ran out of disk space on C,where all my programs are installed.
I'd like to move the Microsoft Office in drive D,If I do this will it still work properly?
Thanks.

Some programs ask You where to be installed , MS Office is not one of them. You'd better uninstall some of the other programs and instal them ( if it's possible ) on other partitions.

No, you can't just move a program from one partition to another easily. The registry tends to have tons of pointers to files on specific partitions.

You have to uninstall Office, then install it again and choose a different partition. Yes, it will still install a bunch of programs to C, which includes all the "repair" files which is basically a complete copy of the application in an archive. If C: is still low your best bet is to get some repartitioning software and expand the size of C:, or get a second drive and copy all your D: (or whatever) files to that new partition, then delete the D partition, then extend the C: partition to make it larger.

Then you can remap your new e: drive back to d:

You could try running Disk Cleanup as a temporary solution. There are options in there for removing old system restore points etc. Turning system restore off and then back on will clear all the restore points out. Windows will slowly create new ones and eat up the space again. At best though it will just give you some temporary breathing room.

MS Office can be installed to any partition aside from C: that you like but it has to be done during the original Office installation process.
