Okay so it turns out I didn't install it properly there, I extracted the file using 77Zip and then click onto it on my downloads bit and it says it automatically run setup when extraction is complete yet once extractio is complete nothing happens?

When I click on the file it used a 'Toshiba Archive Extractor' and I click to extract and it doesn't auomatically install like it says it should?

Then it can not find the Wireless Device .. There used to be an Orange or Blue light that shows the Wireless is on ?

There are no lights now ?

If you mean below the laptop touchpad then no there are no lights, just a solid green light to show laptop is on

You gave me the Model Number R830 should be some more letters after that ?

Seems that some thing has caused the Device to malfunction ..


You could try Re-Installing Windows not sure that would help though ..


Or you could try removing the Card yourself and reseating it

R830-182 and I'm not sure how to do either of those and I need a windows activation key for windows so I can't reinstall it, I was given this laptop whilst at sixth form, it was school owned and I left there over a year ago so I've. no way of activating windows again unless I buy a activation key

Same as the other thing, I download it, go to extract it/install it using Toshiba Archive Extractor and it's supposed to start installing after it's extracted but nothing happens

I think your best Option would be to get a USB Wireless Adapter .. They are cheap enough only 15 Pounds ..

Do not think it would be worth your while getting the Laptop repaired ..

Oh, so with that would I just plug it into my laptop and I can connect it to my BT Home Hub and use the wifi?

Oh okay, I'll have to get that, quite frustrating though knowing the laptops messed up. I'm guessing downloads etc won't be as fast as they were with the USB thing?
