Not BSOD but freezing

That's progress :geek: .
Now try using it in a the middle (2nd one down) PCI-e slot on the motherboard.
Keep in mind that is a physical 16x slot but it's wired at 8x so it might not crash when using the
GPU in question the true test is to run the GPU in true 16x mode on a different motherboard if you have access to one
the flip side of that is to use a different GPU in the true 16x slot in your current configuration.

Hello Yoyo,
It freezes completely. It has never froze for just a moment then resumed. I let it sit for about 10 hours and it never recovered or bsod.
ALL components in this computer are new, so the SSD is as old as everything else, about 6 months.

Do you have a spare SATA Data, you might as well try a different SATA Power) cable you can try?
Also try a different Port on the motherboard.

i agree with yoyo on the part that if you have a spare motherboard; that may be the best route to try next. If you dont; then yes i would try as well replacing the cables and making sure everything is "seated" properly.

I've submitted a support request to gigabyte. I'll report back with what they say.

So far nothing with Gigabyte. They asked a bunch of questions and I think want to troubleshoot the secondary hard drive...
It's been BSOD like crazy recently though, which is progress since it actually give some report of whats going on. Looks like ndis, which from what I've read is network related.
I've already updated the USB wireless adapter drivers, so I'm leaning toward more motherboard/usb problems.
I'm really at wits end here...I'm about ready to just scrap this 1k system and build a new one....

Well I did some research, and you said the bugchecks are indeed network related mainly your
D-Link DWA-131 Wireless N Nano USB Adapter, where the most up to date drive I found is very old
and is the one you already have.
Code:
lmvm RTL8192su
Browse full module list
start end module name
fffff880`026a3000 fffff880`02766000 RTL8192su T (no symbols)

Other then that I would have suggested you use the Ethernet but Atheros.cz
doesn't offer a driver for Windows 7, which is odd, the driver you currently have is not too new
as well but it's worth a shot.
Code:
lmvm l1c62x64

start end module name

Stop using the Wireless adapter and use the Ethernet for a while and see how things fair,
the Juniper Network is not off the hook as well it might be helpful to remove if you can afford it.

Let us know.

Update: I replaced my USB Wireless adapter with a PCI model, and it seems to be doing the trick. it hasn't frozen since my last post, so I'll post back if anything changes. but it looks like the DLINK DWA 131 must have had some kind of compatibility issue.
