Not start PC after install new Ram, please help me! :(

Hi!
Today i install new "Kingston DDR2 800MHz" (kingston KVR 800D2N6) new ram to my PC, then i try to start my PC but its not start, (fans are start then they stop) then i remove my old ram (1GB) and try to start but problem not solve. Then i remove my new ram (2GB), and try to start my PC then my PC work fine.
My motherboard (Intel DG31PR) support 667MHz and 800MHz , DDR2 ram. Please help me.
my new ram is 1.8v voltage but old one is 1.2v voltage.

Mate sounds like your ram is bad. I would RMA or return it to get a different stick.

Are there any special configurations before installing new RAM?
I just remove CPU casing and connect new RAM to motherboard relevant port.

Try the larger new RAM in the first slot (closest to processor) by itself and then with old RAM in second slot.

Remember to ground yourself with a wrist strap or by touching the case before touching any component. Unplug power cord and hold power button to drain power before changing RAM.

If this fails, call Kingston Tech SUpport which is some of the best in the business. They will help you test the RAM in all configurations then RMA it on the spot if necessary.

Thanks for reply! I do that kind of process when i installing ram. I think problem is my new Ram.
