Office 2007 - 32-bit or 64-bit?

Hi folks,

This is an supplementary question to one that I asked earlier...

Is there any way to determine which version of an Office suite (either 32 or 64-bit) is installed on a machine?

I'm not asking which version as in Office 2007 SBE / Pro / Pro Plus / Ultimate etc but whether the software is 32-bit or 64-bit.

I seem to recall that there was an issue running 64-bit Office which leads me to think that I may have the 32-bit version running on my 64-bit OS (Win 7 HP SP1).

The first Office version to have a 64 bit version was Office 2010 so you are using 32 bit.

I had not used Office 2007 in quite a while so I started to answer about Office 2010.

For any running program, you can easily determine if it's 32 or 64 bits by looking at task manager. Find its process name, if it says "*32" at the end, it's a 32 bits process, otherwise it's 64 bits.

Needless to say that in 32 bits OSs, everything is 32 bits, and 64 bits programs don't even run
