Hi,

I would check your 'Outgoing Mail' settings in your account details and also your error log. When you Press F9 (send/receive) click the status bar at the bottom right, this will bring up a box with which you can check for errors.

Hi Riptorn,

I think I remember you from Vista Forums.

As well as what Orbital Shark has suggested.....

Assuming you have set your account up correctly -
Go to Outlook 2007 Tools > Account Settings > highlight the relevant account > click Change > click Test Account Settings
If the test email is sent all is well.

Another step you might like to try [ if necessary]
Tools > Account Settings > Click on the appropriate account > Repair

I have had the issue, at times, when a message gets hung up in the Outbox thereby precluding following messages from being sent.

In such instances I've copied the content of the message that is hung up, deleted it, and recreated it by pasting the contents into a new message (just so I didn't have to re-type it). I then made sure any others in the Outbox were sent before re-sending the re-created offending email again. It usually fixed the problem.

When it didn't solve the issue, I deleted all of the mails in the Outbox, rebooted and then just recreated the emails from scratch. Sounds like a pain but it was a rare occurrence. I have yet to experience such in Office 2010.
