Solved Overclock not picked up by OS

I have overclocked my system from 3.33 to 4.10 and while this is picked up by the BIOS at boot and displayed as such Windows still says it is 3.33 and it will only run at 3.33 max.

How do I get windows to pick up the 4.1 overclock?

ON the system information page. Also on a couple of CPU gadgets. "System Monitor II" being one of them.

Here you go. Shows 3.33 here but on boot the BIOS says 4.10

Note the core speed says 4183 and multiplier 31 which they should be. However when running I only ever see the actual speed get to 3.33 and everywhere it is the reported speed.

Well not sure what has happened but suddenly the system is playing ball. Still says 3.33 on the System page but "System Monitor II" is now showing that it is getting up to the 4.1 mark and the feel of the machine has certainly speedier feeling about it.

The CPU-Z snippet shows your cpu speed @ 4183.57MHz, or 4.183GHz. I'm not sure Windows will inherently show you any overclocked speeds.

Right Kelly, the system properties only shows the stock specs of the CPU.

It may or may not show up in computer properties, mine does but it really doesn`t matter, CPU-z is what matters.

Mine shows different then yours

You have stock and overclock speed I just have Overclock speed maybe windows has Behavior problems :shock:

I just think Windows gives AMD half results but who am I to judge I don't code these programs if I did I would do a dirty AMD sneak and code all for AMD lmao j/k relax not even that serious
