partition problem

hi

i have problme with partition im installing win 7 and i want deleate partition and i have deleate it but i cant create a new partition when im going to create a new partition i become this error message failed to create a new partition on the selected unused space. error 0x8007045d

please help me its important thank you...

i cant format it i was yesterday updating my new windows and i was on training and then im coming to home and i saw my window was deleated i have do nothing and then i want create partiton new and i cant and i want also format bt i cant ::(((

Well, if you can, make and use a partition wizard boot cd to create the partition.

Or, have you tried Diskpart ?

Take a screenshot of your Disk Management screen and attach in this thread...if you have four partitions it will not let you create another...

How can he do that, he doesn`t even have windows installed anymore.

yes i have tried diskpart i become this error message diskpart has encountered an error the request could not be performed becaiuse of an i/o device error.
see the system event log for more information.

Will this be the only OS you want on the drive ?

If so just delete the drive or partition to un allocated space, then just click next.

I always make a partition for windows too, but I don`t ever have issues.
