often corrupt system files are indicative of a malware problem.

I scanned and there were infected files and I deleted them .. Is there anything to do?

You may want to run the sfc /scannow one more time just to make sure, but beyond that I don't have enough information to tell you whether you are settled or not, we'll just have to wait and see now.

geez, I never should have said anything about normal mode, just forget normal mode, there is no normal mode. .... just turn the thing off then back on again....
