Hi All,
i have an error when running windows update, code 80072efe. have beeing looking at this a couple of days now, googled and checked everything on microsoft and nothing works.
im desperatly trying to install a printer (hp deskjet 5940)but cant download any drivers for it as hp says its part of windows 7 and to run updates to obtain the driver - i cant!
windows update fails with the code mentioned, i've tried everything, running the fixit from microsoft, running malware bytes and avira to check for viruses, tried rootkit inspectors, running the update agent, nothing works. i cant even access the windows update site from my pc.
the code seems to refer to an internet connection failure - i can access EVERY other site perfectly fine except any updates!!!! getting frustrated now - any suggestions?
