Hi, I installed Windows 7 on my hard disk. It installed successfully but when I turn on my PC I can't see my previously installed Windows XP SP3. All my work docs are saved there, but I can't get to XP.
I have installed the Windows 7 in the 'D' partition of my 160GB SATA HDD. There are four partitions there, 'C', 'D', 'E' and 'F'. The XP SP 3 was installed in the partition 'C'. Please please tell me a way where I can have a select option to boot either to Windows 7 or XP SP3.
I am in an urgency to get back my data's from XP SP3. Hope you guys will help me ASAP.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Saurav.

Thank you very much for directing me to a correct section. Anyway, that post was too tough for me to understand but I got the needed, the EasyBCD. I downloaded and installed it on Windows 7 and ran it and Added Windows XP to boot menu, but I clicked it 3 times and LOL I am now having 3 Windows XP options in Boot menu with Windows 7.
Anyway thanks a lot again...I am back in XP..WOW

You can delete the other two Win XP options with EasyBCD and just leave the one option remaining.

Yes yes I did it. Got free time and explored EasyBCD. It is a good software. But I am having a weird problem, after my work I always play game at night, so I tried playing Fifa 2010 and suddenly I noticed a definite lag is occurring. I didn't have any problem before, but suddenly it started. The game and video card drivers are installed in my Windows XP('C'). Right now I am trying to reinstall my 9800 GT drivers and the game itself. Let's see if that works..
Anyway, thanks again guys. This is a great forum.
Regards,
Saurav.
