tl;dr - i haz corrupts wut do now?

I'm not sure if the windows update I did last night was the culprit, but I've been working on my computer for about 12 hours (I'm not super computer savvy so it took a lot of iphone Google skills) and I finally got my laptop from moving dead slow, to BSOD, back to moving dead slow, to finally functioning mostly normally again. I've done full scans of my computer with Spybot (free) Malwarebytes (free) and Panda Antivirus (free) and came up pretty clean. I ran sfc /scannow and came up with some files that were corrupted and couldn't be automatically fixed. Since I'm assuming these files are really important, I want to consult you guys here before I try anything. Anyway here is the file. Thanks in advanced!

By the way I searched the forums for similar problems and while I did find a few, I'm not sure what to do :(

This shows repeatedly in the logs:

Not really anything to worry about, just uninstall KB3068708 and hide it if it shows again in Windows Updates.

Can you post up the logs from your BSOD by following http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

Also perform a clean startup to see if that enhances performance. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179159-troubleshoot-application-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html

I'll do a clean start up as soon as I can and update on that later.

Here is the info you requested. I also uninstalled the update you specified.

EDIT: after uninstalling the update and normally restarting my computer, my computer has gone back to super slug mode and is taking forever to open applications. It may be a while before I can try the clean start up.

After running sfc /scannow again, the same corrupt files (utc.app.json ; telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json) appear, so I don't think uninstalling that update worked.

That's not really an issue to be honest, it's just a false positive showing in sfc /scannow. The update itself isn't corrupt per se. I'll take a look at your logs tonight and see if anything obvious is showing in there.

Alright thank you. I should also add that every attempt at system restore I have made has been unsuccessful at all available restore points. Having been at this for over 12 hours is driving me insane.

Ok, only other thing I can think of is your Windows Update is set to automatic update. In any case, the corruption warning from this issue is negligible as Boozad has told.

Oh man. Do you have any idea what might be causing my
Computer to be be so unresponsive all of a sudden then? I thought the corrupt files were the reason.

You can always try uninstalling those updates and if that fix it, try installing them one by one.

There are no dump files in the logs to analyse so no help there. Can you ensure you're set to record small memory dumps by following the steps below, and do not run CCleaner as it will erase any dump files.

  1. Open Advanced System Settings
  2. Click on Settings in Startup & Recovery
  3. Make sure both boxes indicated below are checked
  4. In the dropdown box ensure you're set to record Small Memory Dumps

If you do receive any more BSODs post up the new logs.

Uninstall Driver Updater, you're much better off managing drivers yourself, letting software update drivers is not the best idea.

Also try cleaning up the Startup, all you really need starting with Windows is your AV. You can remove the highlighted programs below from Startup and run them only when needed.
Code:

I ran Ccleaner earlier today :( Should I still upload a new log?

I haven't gotten any BSOD today, but my computer is still responding slower than it used to before all that stuff happened. I'll turn off those highlighted things on startup. Thanks for the suggestion! EDIT: Startup via msconfig right? I didn't fine any of those highlighted programs on the list except for Akamai. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Why is it bad for Driver Updater to update your drivers for you? When and how often should you check for driver updates if you do it manually?

Yeah msconfig would be the place. To be honest some of that stuff may be embedded by the manufacturer hence not showing in msconfig, not a lot you can do about that to be honest. Akamai you can uncheck, I found that to be a resource hog and it only gets used when needed.

As for drivers, you only really need to update them if and when they become problematic. Some drivers very rarely get updated as they just don't need it. The exception being graphics drivers, if you have a dedicated GPU then you tend to update frequently.
