This is my first time here. I have got an issue with my keyboard. It stopped working. I noticed this after I ran a tune up on the system. I have gone thru device manager and it says the driver for keyboard filter is not installed but I have tried updating it/looking for the driver, but can't find it and the system can't find it when online.. Am using a pavilion Dv4-1120br. Also when I use the on screen keyboard,it tends to mess up sometimes, with the "CTRL" keys being active always...after awhile with the on screen keyboard on,my keyboard starts working perfectly but stops again later...
I hope to get a response soon. THanks.

Thanks. I have the most of the drivers from the link.the system came with Vista Basic,I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate..its still having the same problems. Unfortunately I tried a format, though it was successful,on start up,the system files(sound, graphic, and some others). So now I have a recently formatted system with all my files gone but most drivers installed. Formatting it wasn't an easy case, cos of the keyboard problem.. Also bout the keyboard issue, once I activate the on-screen keyboard,my normal keyboard starts working..but the only problem I notice is that I can't use "ctrl" button anymore.
Thanks for the link anyway..first time at the forum.
