I get a power supply surge every time I reboot (its been like this for 3 days now) and I have to press f2 to load defaults and continue then it boots up fine.
I want to know if I absolutely need a new power supply? or is there anything else I can do to resolve this.
Thanks
Steve

Can you explain a little more about what you are calling a "power supply surge"?

By reboot, do you mean a restart (as though you pressed the reset button), a cold boot (system powered off and mains off) or a cold boot (system powered off but mains on) ?
