Uninstall TuneUp utilities as it is trouble waiting to happen. Win7 needs no tweaking whatsoever beyond normal System Settings - tweaks will always come back to bite you. This is not XPired or Vista.

Make sure Superfetch is Started and set to Automatic in services.msc and allow it to rebuild without interference. It is a genius feature of Win7 and should be left alone.

okk bro i hv uninstalled tune up...and that serviec is okk as u said..lets c now..

Tuneup Utilities is not the problem but part of the solution. It has told you that your prefetch data has been deleted, which is more than Win7 did even with its "genius features".

Tuneup Utilities does not wipe prefetch files and thus there is no facility within the program to prevent it. Uninstalling Tuneup Utilities is simply putting your head in the sand as the problem is still there. Another program has deleted the files and its not CCleaner either.

When it happened to me the culprit was Kaspersky Internet Security. If you use Kaspersky privacy cleaner it will clear the prefetch cache by default unless you deselect it.

I encountered a similar problem. My PC won't shutdown. I even deleted the prefetch folder contents, but no use. then i finally realized that I used Privacy Cleaner in Kaspersky Internet Security and Enabled clearing of Swap file during reboot. when i disabled it, my problem was solved. Let me remind you, Tune up Utilities has nothing to do with it.

It was another failure likely caused by using XP-era 3rd party cleaners or tweaks which Win7 doesn't like, need or tolerate.

Tune-Up Utilities is just one of these that we see, and we have countless thousands of cases to judge from since before Win7 was even released.

Don't brag that your failure wasn't caused by TUL but instead another useless tweak no one here would recommend.
