problem with new system build

I just removed the heat sink and fan but as I did so the cpu came out stuck to the bottom of the heat sink!!! perhaps the cpu wasn't setted correctly? I will try putting it all back together again tomorrow and I will post back to let you all know what happens.

Make sure the little triangle notch on the CPU is in the correct corner for the socket!

Heat transfer paste can be quite sticky, same thing has happened to me on occasion. Must twist the heat sink to break the "suction" then lift. Double check (carefully!) for any pin damage, they are very delicate!

had the whole thing apart and back together again but still no signal to the screen and no bleeps but you can hear the hdd start spinning.

I will now RMA the mobo back to Ebuyer as soon as they open.

This can happen when the cpu is not locked into place

1) raise lever
2) insert cpu into socket
3) close lever
