Hello members of Seven Forums! This is my first post here, and I'm not too familiar with the forums, but I am looking forward to be a part of the community :)

Anyway, since I have seen lots of useful solutions to most of my Win 7 problems, I am posting a problem which I am experiencing with my Wacom Tablet and Windows 7.

I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet for Christmas 2009, and was using it with my old computer.
When I got a new PC last year I plugged my Tablet into the computers and Windows installed its drivers and I installed its additional included drivers through its installation CD.
For months, everything was working fine and I got these additional cool features, such as an effect every time I tap or double tap on the screen (A little circle would go outwards from the pointer), get to draw on Stickies, which is handy for me as it is like a checklist, and the handwriting feature on Messenger 2010 would detect pressure, meaning the harder I press, the thicker the line is and vice versa.

All these features seemed to disappear after I changed one setting; disabling the 'Hold to Right Click' features as it was disallowing me to draw smoothly on my painting software and I already have a button for that on my pen. Then, the features stated just disappeared and I have no idea what caused them.
I have tried re-enabling the hold to right click feature and re-plugging in the device numerous times with no luck.

I don't know whether this is a hardware issue or caused by a Windows Update. The tablet still works fine with the computer, just all the things are gone.
What should I do?

PS: I went into Task manager to find 2 process under the name 'wisptis.exe', described as "Microsoft Pen And Touch Input Component". There should only be one running, and one is using more memory than the other. When I try to terminate one of them, it says "Access is denied".
This is ... weird.

If anyone needs to no my specs they are all on my profile.

You need to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them.

It is best to make sure all traces of the drivers are wiped with this;

Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

and then reinstall.

Okay, I successfully uninstalled the drivers, now going to download the application you suggested to see if there are any leftover traces of them. I have made a restore point in case something goes wrong and cleaned leftover registry keys using Glary Utilities.
Lets see if this works.

Turns out it was an option I changed that disabled all those features. I did mentioned that I changed the hold to right click option, and I realised that was the culprit of the problem. It didn't work when I re-enabled it at first but when I started scrolling with the pen (by holding the top button) all the features came back. That was really weird, but at least I fixed it.

Thank you Mike Connor for your help. :)

My pleasure. Glad to hear you got it working again.

My tablet has done this twice, ( although I did not change any settings), and I have had it with others, and I had to reinstall the drivers. Sorry if you had the work for nothing!
