I'm running a Samsung 840 140 gb ssd now and I wanted to know if I can make a new, back up image of my drive now, on my external usb hard drive as I have been doing and when my new drive arrives, just install it and use my repair disc and install as usual the image on the new larger Samsung 840 500gb. ssd drive? or is there a special method I need to use and maybe a link to it. When I installed the 120gb. ssd the backup image I used on it was from the standard hd that the image was made from which was the drive I removed, and it seemed to go on the new ssd just fine I'm hoping that's all I have to do again. all other hardware will be the same. Thanks!
