Hi,

I downloaded QT Lite to play my .MOV files and it doesn't show in Right Click > "Open With". Only the Configuration Settings and Uninstall are in Start > Programs. The application is listed in Program Files (x86) but when I double click the application nothing happens.

I was a bit surprised when it didn't add or give the option to add a desktop icon or shortcut. But it seems as though the app has not installed properly. But I downloaded it from:
|MG| QT Lite 4.1.0 Download which is the main site.

I have tried it three times now, and I can't get it to work, even though I just installed it with the everything it suggested during the Install Wizard.

I opened the Configuration settings and don't understand any of them, so I don't know what to check or uncheck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks a lot

It installed properly.
It only installs the quicktime framework for use by a player such as MPC-Homecinema.

Yeah, just testing to see if you're awake! ;)

(scuttles off to download MPC...)
(scuttles some more to download DirectX

Yay - I can finally watch (and hear) my videos! :)

Thanks for your help Shark007 and for your prompt replies to the PMs.
