I've been trying to get a "computer" shortcut icon to appear in the quick launch menu...

... no dice... any idea how?

I'm not talking about pinning it to the taskbar... I only want it in the quick launch menu.

Hallo Caithness, create a desktop shortcut & drag it into the Quick launch folder, the path is;

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Figured it out... for some reason I had to unlock the taskbar... right click on the quick launch menu and check show title and show text.... then drag it all the way over so that the "computer" icon dropped down, and then when I unchecked the show title and show text and then re locked the taskbar it stayed there...

... I'm starting to understand why so many people are still on XP.... the logic to some of this is ridiculous... scratch that, it isn't even logic... it's just broken.
