Random BSOD, evolved into BSOD when using Chrome.

Good. Now you're getting some answers.

I"m confused though, he has no issue with my GPU but I do in mine? Also, checked voltages coming from PSU, all are on point.

If he has no problem with your GPU and you do, then it obviously isn't the GPU. That leaves 2 choices. It's either your PSU or it's your Motherboard.

If you checked the voltages of your PSU at idle, it does not mean anything. What are the voltages under stress? That is what matters. But that is quite difficult to do.

When I first put my PC together, I noticed the motherboard had a scratch across several bus lanes. I noticed it when I first began to have issues, and I decided to take a close look at the board. I tried RMA'ing it, sent it in and Gigabyte claimed they were unable to fix it.

Back then it wasn't BSOD'ing, just locking up. I am beginning to think it is that scratch, this entire time.

You know, I've built more computers than I care to count and have dealt with most of these companies at one time or another. I can tell you that sometimes you just have to be pretty, shall we say forceful, with them. They gave you a warranty. That warranty says they will fix or replace it, if it is a defect in manufacturing. The problem is not that Gigabyte can't fix it. The problem is Gigabyte doesn't want to fix it. If they can get out of doing it, they will. They took your money and gave you a defective board. I am sure they would have a different attitude if they gave you a good board and you gave them a bad check.

I've built a few, but this was the first time I've had to deal with a company directly. I definitely learned my lesson from this. Someone mentioned being able to read the dump files the PC logs immediately before a crash?

Well at the top of this page is how to post a BSOD thread, talks about posting dump files from the OS. I assume this is to analyze what was going on at the time of the BSOD?

That's what you are posting. You are posting the dump files that show what happened. The OS writes the dump file to the hard drive. That is what the minidump files you are posting is.

The last dump file you uploaded was Post 1 and Koolkat looked at that. I believe She thought it was a hardware problem and called me. We've determined since then that it does seem to be a hardware problem. It seems to be the PSU or Motherboard. I really don't believe the dump files will tell us much, but if you want to upload them again, I'll be happy to look at them. Your card runs fine in another machine and the borrowed card doesn't. So, the card isn't the problem. It's somewhere else.

Any chance you can take a close up pic of the scratch on the MB. Even though it worked before with heat and dust and time it might deteriorate enough to be an issue
