Experienced another BSOD after switching ram of slot and putting it back to their place. Then I also switched the ram's module to put the 1st as the 2nd and vice-versa.

Explorer crashed 3 times, then a blue screen occured. same one than this morning if I am not wrong.

Here is the dump file.

I do not want to abuse all your time and your generosity, I feel like I should pay some of you for your advices and your helps !!

I'll think about it when I'm due for my next purchase, or if I ever need to replace that actual mobo.

limited BIOS but always compatible with mid range ram and devices .....

compatibility issues with gigabyte
support issues with ASUS

I have always found manufacturers take it in turns to produce great products, so when I buy plays a large part in how I make my choices

I guess it looks like my memory is defenately faulty is it ?

memtest86+ found errors on both of my modules. On the website whereI bought the memory on 100 review there is 6-7 people that received two defective module with this kit. I guess I'm also one of them too.

I love Biostar boards also I use them for almost all of my builds I am using a T-Force series TF560 A2+ in my machine it overclocks like mad.

The EVGA boards mostly carry a lifetime warranty on the higher price boards so that's why I recommended EVGA in this case but love my Biostar board

I've been in touch with a Mushking technician, since I'm about to buy that RAM (QVL on my mobo list) HE also confirmed to me that the model I will be buying will work on my mobo (hes using the same chipset than me with the same ram ill be buying !!!!)

I described to him, the analysis people have made about my problem on this forum. I also told him how great this forum is and he agreed btw!!!

He told me that on his point of view, it's either 1 of the 2 stick that is defective or an incompatiblity. HE told me it could also be a configuration problem. (unlikely on my opinion since everything is set correctly)

I guess, I'm just going to change the ram anyway.

I must admit I will like someone to take a look on my scandisk report...

Thanks again for your info, and thanks for your info's on good MoBo. I will for sure, keep that in mind in my next purchases...

Hope I'm not bothering too many people with my massive troubleshooting issues. lol

I thought you where buying the QVL ram then you where going to fit it to your motherboard and see if your system stabilizes ?

Yeah...I guess that'S the only thing to do ! I'll post back results

Mmm my minidump files all got erased for some reasons. I woke up this morning, open the CPU and the files all disappeared.

Is there a reason for that ?

This is weird I did not ran ccleaner and the program itself is not automatic or anything like that. I did remove a game throught ccleaner thougt...

Recently I also tried to lower down the timmings on my ram, have not bsod since, but program failures so I loosened them a bit, but still lower than what the mobo detect and the system seems more stable now.

Cant wait to receive my new ram thought

I'm confused. I changed my ram timmings to 7-8-8-22 instead of 7-9-9-24 as auto dectected by the mobo.

I pass 7 full pass of memtestx86+ 4.0 with the 2x2 installed.

No errors.

What does it can mean ?

never trust auto Bios settings if you are going to build computers you should know enough to set up your Bios manually and make sure all settings are correct

Do you think a timings set too high could cause BSOD ?

Do errors founds in memtestx86+ 4.0 usually mean you ram is faulty or it may be the result of bad settings ?

I thought instability and such problem only occured when you set timings too low so I never cared about it as long as my timings where not over the maximum settings ?

If that was my only problem, hell, I'm gonna hit my head on my desk many times lol !!!

defenately, it's the only thing I did changed. I got upset after a BSOD while in game and this corrupted my empire total war savegame lol.

so I decided to try the ram timings, having nothing to lose. (new ram on the way, was shipped today, and my RMA package is ready to send back !)

So since saturday afternoon, no bluescreen, no program failures, memtest 7 full pass no errors.

I'm like, ''wt*'' is going on ?
