Solved random BSODs on windows 7 fresh install

hey everyone.
I have just installed a new copy of windows onto my computer and I have been having quite a few problems with BSOD and other problems along with it. the blue screens seemingly happen at random and the other problem I am having is that I can't get windows to install or download any updates. The main BSODs I have been getting are memory management, ataport.sys, driver not greater than or equal, and I believe system32.sys.

total mem: 3.00 GB
usable mem: 3.00 GB
HDD: Maxtor 6B300S0 ATA Device
sound card: SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 6200
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit 7600 Multiprocessor Free
I currently have no antivirus programs installed (I am trying to install the updates and drivers first)

I have been having no luck on my own on fixing the issues. I have attached the files that the diagnostic tool made.

edit: I am also having random processes crash randomly and the only way to get them to work again is to reboot.It just crashes again or crashes control panel when I manually run them again. so far its happened to desktop manager, explorer, firefox, and taskmanager.

I just checked and the company that made my motherboard did not have a more current update

Okay, from one of the dumps amdxata.sys - AMD storage controller driver - usually from the Windows 7 DVD is causing BSOD for you. Uninstall it, (look for google in a way to do that).

Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

I am not exactly sure what I am supposed to look for. I am also having a lot of problems with my internet browsers(firefox and IE) crashing repetitively. do you have any ideas on that?

also I have had a few other BSODs that are a bit different so I am uploading a new dump file.

edit: I can't upload the file. both firefox and IE crash as soon I I click the browse for file button
edit2: explorer.exe is crashing too every time I try to open mycomputer.
eedit3: got them both to work after a couple reboots. I have uploaded the new file. I don't think the disk check found any bad spots.

Update to the latest drivers for your graphics card:

Driver	c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys (8.17.12.5896, 10.50 MB (11,008,040 bytes), [COLOR="Red"]7/10/2010[/COLOR] 5:37 AM)

Get the latest drivers from the manufacturers website. (Uninstall older from control panel and delete driver remnants using Driver Sweeper)

Then install all windows updates including SP1

I couldn't find a more recent update from the manufactures website. should I still uninstall it?

Try updating from device manager by expanding the list under "Display adapters"

my computer says that the Nvidia Geforce6200 driver is up to date with the most recent version. Also, I added the extra info.

yes, they are still happening consistently. You said that the driver for my video card was causing most of my problems right? I found another video card in my house that is a bit older, but it was working fine the last time it was used. Do you think I should switch out my current one for it?

alright, I put the new graphics card in and gave it some time and I haven't had a single BSOD yet
however Firefox and IE still like to crash a lot. but it's nothing more than a minor annoyance. though if you have a solution on how to fix that too I would be grateful.

Okay, since the PC seems lil stable with the other graphics card, I would suggest you to do a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html (The links for downloading the OS (pre-SP1) are linked on this tutorial). Get the latest drivers/chipset/motherboard drivers for it (if available). If not from the manufacturers website then install via http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/97061-driver-install-device-manager.html.

I actually did do a clean install. I just accidentally put fresh install in the title.
I also just tried updating and windows refuses to download the updates. it just sits at 0% downloaded when I try manually downloading them through control panel and doesn't do anything when it tries downloading them on shutdown.

How many updates are you trying at once? The reason I linked you to clean install factory OEM is because it has SP1 integrated. Try installing few at a time..btw does it give you back any error code?

I am only installing 3. and yes, it did return an error code.
80073712 (windows help recommended System Update Readiness Tool and then repair with the installation disk)
80070057 (windows help didn't have any results for this one)
8024200D (windows help recommended System Update Readiness Too

I am getting the System Update Readiness Tool right now.
