Hello,

I've been getting BSOD since my last old computer. I bought a new one (custom made), and the only part that is still the same is an old video card (I switched to an old DELL default video card I previously had, and I still keep getting BSOD. so I installed my most recent one -nVidia 9500GT). I've been getting BSOD randomly while watching something on VLC media player or while playing LOL, sometimes just browsing the net and poof!
I'm quite at lost, I've been looking for a solution for a very long time, thought a new computer would eliminate all of this (it was time, my old set up was 6 years old and slow).

If you need any more details, please let me know, I'm getting really upset over this. appreciate any pointers.

Ok, so I'm bumping this since I may have found an answer, just in case anyone is having a similar issue. I've found this website that provides a free software to read dump files. open the software, and try to figure out which category fits your BSOD crash.

"nirsoft" is the website, and the program is called "blue screen view". its free, and it gives the user a little more insight on the problem. for myself, I'm going to try to format my computer. seems like I'm having some corrupt or damaged system drivers/files. and since I tried re-installing them a few times, a format seems like the way to go.
If (since some people have pirated versions) you happen to have a pirated version, I'd suggest you buy and support the software, otherwise... since some people dont have the money for it, find a different windows copy.
