Re formatting my Primary HD

K, I have installed Win 7 Ultimate.

My problem is that I like to screw around with settings and the such like to see how thinks run.

I left my poota unattended and some little fingers screwed my system up!No problem I thought I will just reformat my HD!

This is my problem, I have set the bootup to start with my primary disk drive and rebooted my system, all it says is "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD", I do this and it just boots back into Windows.

How do I get it to boot into the format setup?

Have you checked the DVD on another PC? It might be bad media.
Are you sure your keyboard is being recognised at that stage of the boot?

Yes I have checked the DVD and also tried to use my old Xp disk, but it still will not work.

It will be as rsvr85 said your keyboard is not being recognized, if it is USB try using a ps2 keyboard or a USB to ps2 adapter.

K, yep have been informed that the KB might not be regoc'd, also have been told that the disk might not be read properly from the disk drive laser.

K, I will try a PS2 keyboard (I have an adaptor here somewhere) and also I'll try my other DVD drive.

Lets see what happens!
