Hello! I am trying to reinstall windows on a old computer of mine. Before i re installed it the computer worked fine. Now whenever it is just done loading files it just BSOD's to this error message exactly.
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I googled the error message. I have followed some advice. I have reset the MOBO, (The battery way), replaced the PSU, hard drive, and the CDROM bay,

I also forgot to mention that whenever i turn the computer on, around 50% of the time the power light stays orange, and around 50% of the time it turns green and i see the mobo loading screen on the monitor.

Also around 50% of the time when i boot, it just says "Floppy diskette seek failure" and doesn't let me load from the XP installation disk at all.

This is windows XP by the way.

Well; Just a fyi this is more of windows 7 help forum(s) then xp; But!; we can still help(hopefully). It sounds like something got corrupted either in the install process or the finalizing of windows xp installation. Try booting off the zp disk if you have it and see if it will let you do a repair of computer from the disk. If you can that may resolve the issue by repairing any corrupt files etc. if that does not work you may have to do a complete re-format of the hard drive and complete reinstall of the operating system.

I know its XP, but this problem doesn't seem related to the fact that it is XP. And i have already reformatted the harddrive and what i was trying to do is reinstall the OS.

Well if you already reformatted the hard drive then you might have to format the partition on the drive
First before you can install xp. I would try booting off the disk and doing a reinstall again if it will let you do that.
