Have gotten a bad disk drive message about my external Seagate hard drive...What can I do?

You can try running Sea Tools for Windows, which can be downloaded from the above link. But in my opinion, it would be wise to backup any data on that drive immediately, before you lose it. Its been my experience that once a drive starts going bad, I wouldn't trust it anymore.
