Reboot or select proper boot device

All good Richie - that method is tried and tested several thousands of times now. She'll be all alright!

Ok so when i go to the clean install it says it cannot, when i got to show details it reads 'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The computers hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure the disk's controller is enabled in the computers BIOS menu' I have no idea what to do to fix this. Any help with this please?

Sounds like a problem with the HD. Is it detected in BIOS setup and by the installer when booted?

Boot the HD"s maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan to check it's condition.

Then as suggested boot Partition Wizard bootable CD to check and post back a camera snap of the Drive Map and listings. If any partitions are missing run the Partition Wizard Partition Recovery Wizard - Video Help.

If the partitions are missing and not recoverable create an NTFS Primary installation partition of around 100gb and Modify>Set to Active. Give it a drive letter and rightclick on it to Check File System.

Now try install.

If you want to start with Partition Wizard you can use Hiren's BootCD From USB Flash Drive (Pen Drive) » www.hiren.info
Hiren’s BootCD 15.1

It's rudimentary HD Surface Scan will give you a good idea of the condition of the HD and at the same time give a picture of the drive map and listings which you can post back that will greatly assist us in helping you.

If it shows errors then I'd advance to the HD maker's extended test which may also be on Hiren's stick.

If not you have the Partition Recovery Wizard (undelete), can Explore C to see your files which can be rescued using that step in Clean Reinstall tutorial. Then you can repartition , check File System and mark Active to see if it will install, providing the disk is good.

During startup, does the motherboard screen show any function key listed? Say
Boot Menu: F*
BIOS Setup: F*

What is the boot menu key there?

I have just tried that and it still says BOOTMRG missing. Is there any software i can download and burn onto a dvd rather then cd to check the condition of my HD. As once i can show what state it is in, hopefully you guys can put an end to this problem :)
