Recent update from 2 weeks ago causes BSOD

And I cant stop it from installing....

So now I am in this endless cycle of restore...load windows...updates automatically install... than it reboots.. blue screens and forces another restore...

How do I fix this?

I'm not as technically savvy as others on this forum, but I would suggest reinstalling your O/S if you have the disk's you need.

Turn off automatic updates. Select this option:

See, now Carl is very technically savvy, the only thing I'm curious about is the way you describe the situation xythil, is this whole process happening automatically without you doing anything or are you restarting once the download is finished? If you are manually restarting, then Carl's the man.
