Hi All,

I have a recurring BSOD error that occurs frequently and at random. I can't pinpoint it to any particular event other than the error seemed to have first occurred when connecting to a wireless network with hidden SSID. Now it just seems to happen all the time.

I tried un-installing and reinstalling my Wireless Adapter drivers with no success. Then I thought it may be a memory issue and replaced my SODIMMs with 2 x 4GB Kingston (1333MHz) SODIMMs but this hasn't resolved the problem either.

I have tried to follow the posting guidelines as best I can, but apologies in advance if anything is lacking. Appreciate any help.

System Details
Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (OEM)
Intel Core i3 M370
8GB RAM
System & Hardware approx 18 months old.

Thanks and Regards

Easy

Related to ZoneAlarm Firewall Driver and your Kaspersky.

Remove them and replace with MSE and the built in firewall.

Kaspersky is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Thanks for the quick reply ZigZag..

I'm using ZoneAlarm Extreme Security so i'm guessing it's just the AV part of the program (by Kapersky?) that is causing the problem?

I've haven't been able to capture the actual BSOD screen that appears, but it says something about "Device driver attempting to corrupt system". Could there be other issues affecting my computer? I'm asking because I have another Win7 computer running ZA and have never had a problem.

Attached is the contents of my Minidump folder if that's of any use.

Thanks again

Quite the opposite. vsdatant.sys (part of ZAP) was directly implicated.
