Removing XP from Windows 7, Ubuntu triple boot

Hello,
I have installed windows 7 on a different partition without removing windows xp. Now, I am having trouble removing windows xp from my windows 7, ubuntu boot. The problem is when I try to delete the partition, it keeps telling me:

"Delete is not allowed on the current boot, system, pagefile, crashdump or hibernation volume."

Here is my Disk Management:
[ ] Simple Basic [ ] Healthy(Primary Partition) -> Linux
( C: ) Simple Basic NTFS Healthy(Boot, Page File, Active, Crash Dump, Primary Partition) -> win7
( D: ) Simple Basic NTFS Healthy(System, Primary Partition) -> xp
( E: ) Simple Basic NTFS Healthy(Logical Drive) -> for data

In boot manager, I only have one boot entry "Windows 7" because I removed windows 7 and ubuntu from it using easybcd (i use grub for all). Even if the Boot is written for win7 in disk management, I don't have bootmgr and boot/ in my win7 partition. It's in winxp partition. EasyBCD keeps giving me error "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The system cannot find the file specified.", so i have to manually refer to the BCD file located in winxp partition.

What should I do to remove windows xp?

It says it is the system partition. Thus the Bootloader for windows 7 resides on it. You can delete the Windows folder, and many of the other folders on the XP drive, but not the Boot - Boot Configuration Data (BCD) folder or many of the files in the Root of that drive - if you do, you may need to repair or reinstall windows 7.

While I was checking bcdedit, I found a command "bcdedit /createstore" to create a new store. Can I create it and remove the partition. If yes, how to remove the partition? I can do it from linux but is there a way doing it from windows (just curious)

Ok. I have run the System Recovery and it kind of recovered the boot. Now I have Boot/ folder with BCD file in my win7 partition. But, my bootmgr is still in my winxp partition. Will moving it from xp partition to win7 partition solve the problem?

Normally you would mark Win7 Active in XP Disk Management, boot the WIn7 DVD or Repair CD to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105541-startup-repair-run-3-separate-times.html. This writes the System boot files to the Win7 partition allowing you to delete XP in Win7 Disk Managment.

However all bets are off with GRUB in the mix. You can try making the Repairs but you may need to remove GRUB first. And be aware the GRUB can corrupt Win7 beyond repair just being on the same HD - we see it a lot here.
